A new PhD available

A PhD is available as part of a collaboration between SELFRAG and the Camborne School of Mines (UK), investigating the effects of high voltage pre-weakening on ores.

The novelty of this subject means the PhD will have an interdisciplinary nature, and several different research topics including fracture mechanics, liberation studies, interaction with flotation/leaching/gravity separation and economic analyses may all be required throughout the course of the research. This PhD will be a valuable contribution to this rapidly developing comminution technology, and is a good opportunity for a student with a previous degree in Engineering or Geology.
