# Selfrag AG

Selfrag AG was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Kerzers, Switzerland, with a second site in Zurich. The company operates and is building Centros, industrial facilities that process incinerator bottom ash from waste incineration plants. Each Centro recovers ferrous and non-ferrous metals plus mineral aggregates, replacing virgin raw materials and avoiding CO2 emissions. As of 2024, Selfrag's operating Centros saved over 13,160 tonnes of CO2.
