Centro Due in Kerzers: Construction Gaining Momentum
The progress on the construction site is evident. After intensive months of planning and preparation, the groundwork and civil works are advancing fast at Centro Due in Kerzers.
Construction milestones achieved
The terrain has been properly prepared and the soil management phase is complete. The obsolete humus has been used to upgrade agricultural land in the Kerzers area, staying true to our principle of creating value at every step.
Next steps
The main building structure is taking shape, and preparations are underway for the installation of our patented High Voltage Pulse technology equipment. Once operational in 2026, Centro Due will significantly expand Selfrag's waste-to-value operations.
With a capacity of 45,000 tonnes of IBA per year, the facility is expected to avoid approximately 14,000 tonnes of CO2 annually, bringing our combined output close to 24,000 tonnes CO2 avoided per year.
