Selfrag raises 14.3 million CHF to further develop the expansion of its Waste to Value activities.
Selfrag has recently announced the successful closure of financing worth over 14.3 million CHF. This includes 9.3 million CHF of equity provided by its core shareholders and 5 million CHF of debt secured through the Technology Fund and UBS. This funding injection is a significant milestone for the company, and it will enable Selfrag to accelerate the growth of its waste to value initiatives.
Acceleration of the Centro Due Project
The capital injection will accelerate Selfrag's Centro Due Project in Kerzers, with construction expected to start in Q4 2023, and the facility to become operational by Q4 2024. Selfrag’s innovative and patented technology with support of its scientists, engineers, and business partners aims to bridge the gap towards a functional circular economy by transforming the waste to value industry. This will be achieved by drastically improving recycling and recovery rates, reducing CO2 impacts, and, decreasing landfill volumes by 50% of all IBA processed.
